It was my Daughter’s 5th birthday. We didn’t have the money for a big party — just a few neighbors, some snacks, and homemade cupcakes. I had been feeling so guilty, thinking I hadn’t done enough. But I wanted her to feel special.

That morning, I surprised her with the Rocket Bubble Gun I had secretly ordered. I wasn’t expecting much — just something to make her smile.

The moment I pressed the button and the sky exploded with bubbles, my Daughter froze. Her eyes lit up like it was Christmas. Then She screamed, “Mummy! Bubbles!”

All the kids went wild, chasing bubbles like they were catching stars. Parents pulled out phones. Neighbors clapped. I stood there — with tears in my eyes — because Its been a while I saw my Daughter laugh and smile like that again – Prior to this time, I have always promised to buy her Toys and end up Disappointing her.

Later that evening, she came to me quietly and said, “Mummy Thank You” Honestly, I never expected that. I hugged her so tight, I didn’t want to let go.
